Development is starting to become more complex and refined. I'm still not entirely convinced that your most recent GIFs are busy enough or are of the right type of person to fulfill your intentions. I would be great if you could spend tomorrow in Heathrow!!

Can't really see much development form the last two weeks. Hopefully you will actually be in my lesson and we can discuss. Failure to attend and follow directions doesn't usually end happily. This is not an A grade project....yet

Thorough presentation of the initial tasks. I particularly like how you have made a connection between the evolution of the camera and the Bailey exhibition.
Do you have contacts for the initial responses to strands?
You are losing some quality in your images...both film and still. Many of the parts appear underexposed. Perhaps you can address this in your GIFs.
I really like the comparison between the slow pace of the countryside opposed with the frantic city. Could you create a film where you pan up from the scene into the sky but when the camera comes back ' down to earth' you are in a different place? Alternatively could pair landscape and city together in still images or GIFs but have one almost as a reflection of the other.

These are not necessarily the best two images to pair together....but you get the idea. It could also be made from more than two images.
Alternatively you could create images of the future when ove population and other environmaental issues have changed the face of the city forever. Eg. The 'Postcards from the Future' series by Roberts Graves & Didier Madoc-Jones |
